Business Applications Manager - Brownsburg, IN

Description

As a Manager of Business Applications, you will play the role of delivering successful project results and a stable production environment within Badger’s Applications platform—chiefly composed of Oracle Cloud Applications.  You are a seasoned leader with strong acumen for technology, who can closely partner with parties at all levels of the company to understand, advise and deliver high quality solutions and outcomes for the business.

• Develops and executes a 1-year business plan ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and immediate manager’s business plan. 
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with departmental leaders and their teams
• Acts as the business relationship manager for assigned business area
• Collaborates with external partners and manages service providers to deliver results
• Assembles and guides teams to successful project delivery
• Monitors everyday operations of application development team and provides regular feedback to stakeholders
• Analyzes business requirements and develops enhancements to improve organizational efficiencies and performance
• Manages and provides support to critical business application systems; performs research and development of new and existing systems and applications
• Prepares documentation of system processes and functional requirements
• Ensures solution architecture meets objectives in a sustainable fashion
• Attracts, retains, and develops staff
• Champions and leads a consumer-grade customer experience, using customer insights to identify and exceed customer needs
• Oversight of project spend within application portfolio
• Approve technical designs/solutions to business or technical problems
• Authorize changes to our applications

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or related field (MBA or Masters preferred)
• 10+ years of related business and/or IT experience
• 5+ years of IT Management experience
• 2+ years ERP implementation and support experience (Experience with CRM/Lead to Cash business processes preferred)
• PMP and ITIL certifications valued
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications preferred
• Experience working with ITSM and PPM tools
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies
• Preference towards a candidate who spent time in developer roles 
• Preference towards a candidate with experience with integration
• Mature leadership skills
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong business acumen aligned with technology delivery skills 
• Results oriented, delivering on commitments consistently

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Badger’s reasonable estimate of the hiring compensation range for this role.
HIRING SALARY RANGE:  $100,000.00 - $140,000.00
Compensation may vary and will be determined by the geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.  

Candidates will be required to successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include background check, MVR history and a drug test. 

Badger Daylighting, and its parent company Badger Infrastructure Solutions Ltd. (TSX:BDGI), is North America’s largest provider of non-destructive excavating services. We work for contractors and facility owners in a broad range of infrastructure industries, including energy generation, electricity and natural gas transmission networks, roads and highways, telecommunications, water and sewage treatment and general municipal infrastructure. 

Our key technology is the Badger HydrovacTM, which is used primarily for safe excavation around critical infrastructure and in congested underground conditions. The Badger Hydrovac uses a pressurized water stream to liquefy the soil cover, which is then removed with a powerful vacuum system and deposited into a storage tank. Badger manufactures and designs our truck-mounted hydrovac units, giving us the opportunity to incorporate feedback from our hydrovac operators into existing and future design and manufacturing processes.
