IT Project Manager - Brownsburg, IN

Description

The role of the Project Manager (PM) is initiate, plan, execute, monitor and close projects in Badger’s IT environment.  The PM will identify teams and build relationships to enable successful project delivery.  This is a unique opportunity as we have recently implemented an entirely new Oracle Cloud platform and we have not previously staffed the PM role. 

• Lead project teams to create and manage Oracle Cloud Applications projects 
• Manage Scope, Cost, and Schedule for Badger IT projects
• Craft and deliver change management (OCM) strategies and plans
• Coordinate and manage cross functional solution dependencies across multiple IT and business teams at Badger 
• Assist in defining and subsequently continuously improve upon Badger’s project management processes and competencies
• Adopt and champion roll out of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool
• Lead adoption of agile mindset and eventually methodologies by project teams
• Collaborate on training development and delivery
• Proactively collaborate with communications team to ensure Oracle Cloud modules updates are organized, well understood, and professionally delivered
• Internalize customer insights to drive Oracle Cloud Finance innovation
• Champion and lead a consumer-grade customer experience, using customer insights to identify and exceed customer needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or related field
• 10+ years of related business and/or IT experience
• 5+ years of project management experience
• PMP Certification required
• ScrumAlliance or other Agile certifications valued
• Expert level presentation crafting and delivery skills
• Innate strength in crafting message to suit the receiving party
• Raise difficult issues early and often to ensure they are addressed 
• Solid and proactive risk assessment and creative mitigation mindset 
• Strong command of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Preferred experience with, or understanding of, agile methodology 
• Cloud application delivery experience 
• Ability to manage project/program budgets
• Ability to distill project scope into logical project plan/approach
• Ability to balance strategic concerns with day to day activities 
• Ability to balance experience with new ideas and solutions offered by others
• Resiliency, flexibility, learning agility, determination in face of setbacks 
• Ability to travel up to 10%

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Badger’s reasonable estimate of the hiring compensation range for this role.
HIRING SALARY RANGE:  $80,000.00 - $115,000.00
Compensation may vary and will be determined by the geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.  

Will be required to successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include criminal background check, credit check, MVR history and drug test.  
Badger Daylighting, and its parent company Badger Infrastructure Solutions Ltd. (TSX:BDGI), is North America’s largest provider of non-destructive excavating services. We work for contractors and facility owners in a broad range of infrastructure industries, including energy generation, electricity and natural gas transmission networks, roads and highways, telecommunications, water and sewage treatment and general municipal infrastructure. 

Our key technology is the Badger HydrovacTM, which is used primarily for safe excavation around critical infrastructure and in congested underground conditions. The Badger Hydrovac uses a pressurized water stream to liquefy the soil cover, which is then removed with a powerful vacuum system and deposited into a storage tank. Badger manufactures and designs our truck-mounted hydrovac units, giving us the opportunity to incorporate feedback from our hydrovac operators into existing and future design and manufacturing processes.
