We're looking for a spirited and innovative individual who's ready to dive headfirst into our exciting industry. As an intern, you'll get a real taste of the professional world, collaborating with our seasoned experts, contributing to meaningful projects, and gaining invaluable experience that goes far beyond the classroom. 

As part of the Intern Program, you will be aligned to our Director of Talent Acquisition but will have day to day interaction will be with your assigned liaison.

  • Works closely with the manager or assigned staff member and completes all allocated tasks. 
  • Conducts desktop research or gathers information through surveys or by speaking to clients and staff. 
  • Attends and participates in meetings, workshops, events, digital marketing, social media and exhibitions.    
  • Liaises with clients, vendors, and suppliers on behalf of the company's managers. 
  • Updates documents and sales records. 
  • Reviews sales performance against sales targets. 
  • Observes and carrying out sales processes. 
  • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions. 
  • Assists managers with negotiations. 
  • Keeps a log of everything learned and delivers presentations to staff and other stakeholders. 
  • Supports teams to plan, develop, and execute marketing initiatives. 
  • Completes projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing. 
  • Assists management with the preparation of campaigns and reports. 
  • Handles inbound requests from vendors, brokers, partners, customers, and clients. 
  • Performs market research to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Collects performance metrics to measure progress. 


  • Education: Currently enrolled and pursing a degree in higher education 
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities. 
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to quickly adapt to new tasks
  • Initiative: Demonstrates a proactive approach and eagerness to learn. 
  • Creative thinker and problem solver; strength to question the status quo.

The salary for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience.
Candidates will be required to successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include background check, MVR history and a drug test. 

Badger Daylighting, and its parent company Badger Infrastructure Solutions Ltd. (TSX:BDGI), is North America’s largest provider of non-destructive excavating services. We work for contractors and facility owners in a broad range of infrastructure industries, including energy generation, electricity and natural gas transmission networks, roads and highways, telecommunications, water and sewage treatment and general municipal infrastructure. 

Our key technology is the Badger HydrovacTM, which is used primarily for safe excavation around critical infrastructure and in congested underground conditions. The Badger Hydrovac uses a pressurized water stream to liquefy the soil cover, which is then removed with a powerful vacuum system and deposited into a storage tank. Badger manufactures and designs our truck-mounted hydrovac units, giving us the opportunity to incorporate feedback from our hydrovac operators into existing and future design and manufacturing processes.
