About the Role
Parts Specialist is responsible for picking parts requested by operations/fleet, receiving inventory requested via purchase order and putting away in proper location. Reporting to the Fleet Fulfillment Lead, the Parts Specialist is responsible for parts distribution and inventory to ensure seamless processing of items requested and timely delivery to our customers.
What You'll Be Doing
Sorts incoming parts and puts away to designated storage locations in the warehouse or the outside storage areas.
Picks parts in accordance with released pick slips, following our guiding rule of “ensuring that the physical movement of parts is always in sync with the pick slip flow and hence the movement of parts in our system”.
Prepares and picks selected items requested by operations/fleet via transfer order and works closely with the material transfer team to assemble and build kits in the system, so they are readily available for picking in accordance with inventory requirements.
Ships picked orders to the customer via Badger preferred small package and freight carriers.
Processes returns from operations/fleet in accordance with set return procedure.
